Location: Madurai
I'm basically from Chennai and I go to Madurai to visit my grandparents. They own a house there and they were building another house there which was like 10km outside the city limits. My grandpa had given the charge of taking care of the construction to one of his old friend who lives somewhere around that area. It was a beautiful surrounding with greenery all around the place and the aesthetics of Vaigai Dam adds beauty to the place. But unfortunately my tata's friend kept on complaining that the workers when they worked late hours could hear some girl giggling. All the workers were male and due to this strange female giggles, they denied to stay back n work late. One day, when they piled up the bricks in the upstairs room, it fell in some strange manner and they had to re organize it. immediately when it was done n they got down, it happened to fall again and they were clueless why it happened and they worked late in the evening n erected the wall again n kept supports and came. But, when they saw in the morning they found the wall collapsed again before even it had begun to dry n set. They immediately brought this to notice to tata's friend and he told tata and he visited the place n he took me also along with him but did not tell me anything about what was happening. I heard them discuss and i was like ok some material quality problem n i ignored. In the next few days a pooja ceremony was set up and it was conducted on the land. Later I came back to Chennai and in the next few wks, tata called us and said he gave away the land to a real estate guy for a good amount but did not tell us why. It was a beautiful location and we were shocked about this news. Then later my grandma had told my mother that nothing was going right there and the wall was not standing and kept on falling. The workers one by one started to complain there's some thing residing on the land already that doesn't like us building the house there and my paati also added that the workers fell sick very often n they were not interested to work there and my tata's friend who was in charge also said he heard some lady giggle when he once inspected the house late in the evening with the workers and they did not bring that to notice much.
One can't just deny there is no supernatural on earth. That land was definitely a beautiful place and i bet it belonged to some lady who died and still did not want to leave her land to us. Her presence was there even after she was gone and she made the work progress slow, she got the workers sick and she also showed signs of her presence with giggles and weeping sounds.
